Air Hogs Gryphon r/c heli review

Welcome back peeps!  Today I am reviewing the air hogs "gryphon" r/c heli and testing it outside.  The heli charges from a wall plug (charger included) in about 35-40 minutes and the remote control requires 6x AA batteries.  I had a hard time at first with this heli but got the hang of it outside which has to be dead calm to or else you will slam into the ground.  I warned you.  But once I got the hang of it, it was fairly fun.  The drawback of this heli is the price (target exclusive: $90-$100) and that I had to reset both the heli and controller every so often.  Overall I give it a "B" for a grade.  Check out my video review below.Take care ;)

Auldey Exploiter r/c Heli Review

Hi! Welcome back to toy hobby review!  Today I am reviewing the "Auldey Exploiter" r/c heli.  This heli is a 3 channel indoor/outdoor 2.4 ghz heli.  I had a blast flying mine and got it at walmart for $50 USD and I find it to be easier and more stable than the "Air Hogs Gryphon" by a pinch or two.  The only problem is that I would lose signal and the heli would drop out the sky once in a while.  Check out my video review below for more!  Thanks and take care ;)))

Air Hogs Jet Set series "futuristic" r/c plane review.

Welcome back to Toy Hobby Review.  Today we have futuristic looking plane from air hogs jet set series.  Once I got the hang of flying this and gaining enough altitude I was able to fly nicely.  I recommend throwing the plane at an upward angle, gaining altitude and then turning when need be.  I had a good time getting it to fly and with some practice you can too!  Just remember to throw it upward with full throttle and have plenty of flying room.   Hope you enjoyed this little review and take care ;)))))))

Air Hogs Jet Set "V-Tail" rc airplane review.

Welcome back!  I recently flew this v-tail jet set series air hogs r/c plane and it did fairly well.  I was able to get it flying without much problem.  I flew this in high winds but it still was able to get up in the air and flying.  I did not have too many problems with it.  I give the v-tail a thumbs up!  Check out my video review below!

Air Hogs Jet Set UAV Review

Hiya!  I recently bought and tested the air hogs jet set series UAV.  I tried and tried flying but it would flip-flop in the air so I tried adding nose weight and it still would not fly right.  Do not buy this or you will be disappointed.  I have been able to fly my other air hogs planes just fine for the most part but they should have made the UAV fly better before considering it to be a final product.  I feel like I wasted my money and time.  Do not buy its HORRIBLE! lol.  Thanks and take care ;)))))

Air Hogs Jet Set Canard R/C Airplane Review!!

Welcome back to Toy Hobby Review!  Today I am reviewing the air hogs jet set series canard style plane.  The plane flies with a lot of front lift and has a "float-like" flying characteristics.  This video was shot on a windy day but the plane was still flyable and handles decent enough to still have control.  The included remote control also charges the plane and requires 6x AA batteries and operates on 2.4 GHz with a little more than 100ft range.  I have gone past 100ft and still had full control.  Some people have trouble with air hogs rc planes that I see on youtube but mine flew great and was very fun!  Two thumbs up!!! Take care :))))))))))

Air Hogs Wind Flyers Review!

Hi welcome back to Toy Hobby Review!  Today I am reviewing the air hogs wind flyer.  I bought this little plane at toys r us and it is a free-flight toy grade airplane.  No remote control.  The included charger requires 2x AA batteries and charges in 60-90 seconds. When you remove the charger, the prop starts spinning and then you can give it a toss.  Too bad for me that I couldn't get the plane to fly barely at all.  I was a bit disappointed with it and got a bit frustrated trying to get it to fly.  I have seen other people on youtube who could get the wind flyer to fly but for me it just turned and crashed to the ground.  Save your $15 bucks and put it towards a air hogs sky stunt or hawk eye blue sky.  Two thumbs down :(((.  Thanks for reading and remember to subscribe and of course....take care ;))))

Air Hogs Hawk Eye Blue Sky R/C Airplane Review!

Hi welcome back to Toy Hobby Review on blogspot.  Today I am reviewing the air hogs hawk eye blue sky onboard camera plane for taking up to 4min video, taking pictures or both.  There is no sound recording just pictures and video.  The hawk eye blue sky recharges via USB cable either on a USB powered device or off of the controller ( 2.4GHz and 100ft. or slightly more range) which requires 6x AA batteries.  This plane is very stable for its small size and flys great!  The review video below has footage from the on-board camera that you plug in via USB to look at your files. I bought the hawk eye blue sky from walmart.com for $69.99 +shipping.  Hope this review helps in making a decision to buy or not to buy.  I give it two big thumbs up and is one of my favorites.

Air Hogs Sky Stunt R/C Airplane Review!

The air hogs sky stunt is one of the newest r/c planes from air hogs. The plane is operated by a 2.4GHz controller with a 300 foot range. The controller has a built in charger for charging in the field and requires 6x AA batteries. This and the hawk eye blue sky are my favorite flying air hogs planes. The sky stunt has a "stunt trigger" that increases the speed by about 15%-20% or there abouts. I was able to get the sky stunt to loops and do somewhat of a corkscrew. I also like how turning is rudder control and even with no throttle you can still steer it. Cost is $39.99. I give this plane a big two thumbs up! Please subscribe and take care ;))))

Air Hogs Dive Master Submarine Review

I recently bought a air hogs dive master remote controlled submarine.  It is for indoor use and uses a infrared controller which requires 4x AA batteries and also charges the tiny submarine and it is tiny.  The dive master is a toys r us exclusive so you will have a hard time finding it anywhere else. The submarine has 6 way control (dive, surface, forward, backwards, left and right.  The controller felt a little stiff but still was functional.  Charging time took about 45-50 minutes and runs for at least 8 minutes and to turn it on you close the charging hatch which completes a circuit and the nose light will come on.  I paid $49.99 at toys r us and I really enjoy diving around in my aquarium.  I do not recommend this for outdoor pools or lakes ect.  Thanks for your time and remember to subscribe and as always...take care ;)

Screaming from the sky!

When you hear "Screaming from the sky" what do you think of??  I think of the german stuka dive bomber that had the infamous "scream" when it went into a dive.  Well I just had to find one because it is one of my all time favorites (SR-71,Stuka,Vampire and a canard plane I can't remember..lol).  So I went to hobbyking.com and got a in-house made hobby king exclusive micro JU-87G-1 Stuka made out of EPO and is a PNF(plug n fly).  The scale detail looks amazing in the pictures on hobbyking.com.  It is a 4 channel and has a steerable tail wheel.  I ordered the hobby king 4ch remote and some lipo batteries/charger.  I am looking forward to getting this Stuka and doing a review.  Look for a upcoming youtube video on it shot with my new Hi-Def hero 3 black edition go pro cam.  I am excited with glee ;)  Please subscribe to my youtube page and as always..take care :)))))

My collection room :)))

Here is a video shot with my old camera so please excuse the poor quality.  I now use a Go Pro Hero 3 "Black Edition" which can go even higher than 1080P but 1080P records with more FPS (Frames Per Second) so for a smooth video I leave it at 1080P which is nice and crisp.  Should be for $399.99 buck-a-roos.  I love it though.  Please subscribe to my youtube page and leave a comment! So enough of my babbling here is the video:

Air Hogs Sharpshooter Tracer Fire

Hiya!  I bought a Air Hogs Sharpshooter Tracer Fire which is just a sharpshooter with glow-in the dark missiles.  There is no tail rotor on this so it does not have the control that I would have liked for a heli that shoots objects.  The heli flew fairly well but no control for forward flight hinders this heli.  The missiles do work but there is a slight delay between pushing the button and the missiles actually firing. The heli "wobbles" in the air when you shoot missiles but it is not too bad.  I wish they put rocket launchers on the "Gyroblade" by air hogs then you could actually aim it.  Still a neat 2 channel heli with a fun feature but not my first choice.  Please subscribe to my youtube page and leave a comment!  Take care ;)

Ignite Search and Rescue "chinook" style heli

This is one of my favorite helis and the control is excellent with forward and back buttons that you tap to increase speed fordward or back but you can also hover in one place if you like.  It is a 3.5 channel and goes forward, back, spin left, spin right, up, down. I found this dual rotor-sets heli to be a blast and very stable in flight.  This heli also has colorful disco-like lights that make for great indoor night flying with the lights turned off.  The heli charges on the included controller(requires 6x AA batteries) for any where charging.   It is a target "exclusive".  I love it.  Please subscribe to my youtube page and leave a comment!  Thanks and take care ;)

Ignite Jackal Review

This is a review on the missile launching tank-like Ignite "Jackal" with a battery of foam missiles to launch at your adversaries or in my case...my cat.  Poor kitty.  I found the jackal very fun to drive around and launch missiles at targets.  It can fire one at a time or "automatic" by pressing two buttons at the same time.  They put a decently powerful motor for movement and this tank will easily go over your carpet.  Sometimes if you do 360's on the carpet the treads might come off.  Just slide them back on and you should be good to go.  The only downside is the 5 hour recharge for the battery.  Their is also a warning to not charge the battery for more than 5 hours.  So get out your timer folks.  The jackal runs for about 12-15 minutes but depending on how you run it, it could last longer.  The NiCad battery for the jackal is included but you will need to get one 9v battery for the controller.  Please subscribe to my youtube page and take care!

Air Hogs Heli Cube

This neat little air hogs heli is small/compact and fits inside the controller!  The heli itself charges through a usb cable to a usb powered connection.  I wish it charged off of the controller but it doesn't and instead uses that space for the heli fold up into.  The good side is that it charges fast (15-17 minutes) and has long flights (around 8 minutes).  I think this is both the fastest and longest lasting (flight time) heli I have.  Their are some problems though.  It turns to the right and picks up speed very fast and you will ram into the wall if not careful but turns to the left normally.  You can help counter-act this by twisting the tail prop counter-clockwise carefully.  For me however it still had the problem.  The controller sticks also feel cheap in terms of their thickness (the sticks) or lack there of.  Requires 2x AAA batteries for controller. Thanks for reading and take care!

Air Hogs Gyro Blade Review

Below is my review of the "Air Hogs Gyro Blade" and it is one of my favorites.  It has 6-way control (up,down, move left, move right, spin left, spin right) and is reinforced with metal for those hard crashes but with the controls being on the money then you won't have to worry about crashing much.  The controller charges the heli with 6x AA batteries and the heli is fully charged in about 25 minutes.  This helicopter turns on a dime and stops on a penny.  This all makes the flight experience more enjoyable because of the ability to go back and forward and turn without drifting while turning.  I give it a A+.  The cost is about $49.99 USD but compared to other toy grade helis this is the most controllable I have yet to encounter.  Check out my video review and subscribe to my channel on youtube! Take care.

Ignite Falcon Flyer IR Heli

I started having controller response issues.  The controller would not make the heli to move right away.  Also I would totally loose control and even have to reset the heli and controller.  Maybe it is just mine but I would give this a solid 2 thumbs up if it did not have that problem.

Air Hogs Havoc Stinger Review

Their are better helis out than the "Havoc Stinger".  Save your money for the Air Hogs "Gyroblade" because it actually has forward and back motion unlike the stinger.
